ISSF Prone Rifle Series 2021

This series has been organised by NIRSC in conjunction with CRC and will be shot across both ranges.

The prizes on offer have been organised in such a way as to encourage entries from the entire skill/experience range.

I would encourage all of those who have experience at small-bore prone (particularly on the Meyton Electronics) but have not shot ISSF competitively to give it a go.

The first match is this Sunday 20th June. I hope to see you all there – https://comberrifleclub.as.me/lapua

Fantastic news this week for the Club and for our member Kim Lindsay who won The Irish Open at the weekend. Kim won the competition in what can only be described as horrible conditions and at 22 years of age is one of the youngest competitors to win the competition. She is also the first female to win the competition in 45 years!

Congratulations on a fantastic win and earning a place on the front page of The Chronicle.

Comber Open Results 2020

The Comber Open was held on 4 – 5 Sept 2020

Comber Rifle Club would like to thank all those who made time to support the competition, both prone rifle and LWSR, especially in the
current difficult circumstances. The online booking system worked very well, thanks to Andy Ginn, and although the match was very different
to previous years the competition was enjoyable with some good scores recorded. Due to social distancing requirements and limitation of
numbers at the range it has been agreed to run the Stanhill Championship Final for the top 8 prone rifle competitors at the next electronic
match to be held in October, giving everyone more shooting/match opportunity. Details on the final schedule will be advised in due course.
Thanks to Robert Conn for his kind donation as he was unable to shoot on the day, and to Tony Young for running the LWSR competition.
